Why does crypto not have more consumer apps? Because it currently does not solve many problems for consumers. Crypto has strong consumer product-market fit with speculative use cases. This is because it’s a) potential to make money quickly b) entertainment. The way to grow the number of consumers in crypto is increase the amount of entertainment in crypto apps. Consumers have unlimited demand for novel entertainment.

I think there’s more that can be built on a decentralised social graph beyond just entertaining consumer apps. Biggest unlock I see is under collateralized lending.
