Yes if it gathers that it’s from paywalled content, even if you have access to it and copy and paste it, it refuses. Mistral will do it though

It also will summarize text from WSJ or the NYT when I input the actual text from articles. Both Gemini and ChatGPT refuse to do that even when I copy in the text

In order to combat declining birth rates, Japan’s local governments are offering AI matchmaking services for $100. https://mainichi.jp/english/articles/20240226/p2g/00m/0na/026000c?utm_source=www.theneurondaily.com&utm_medium=newsletter&utm_campaign=ai-taking-big-tech-jobs

I like the way it guides you through a process as if it’s using frameworks. When I’m researching as the initial part of a bigger process, the way it helps me think through the process is really helpful. It asks questions to guide and offers reminders too.

Yeah I listened to that. They approached it well and did ask the questions, kindly and politely.

But if you use it the way you’d use perplexity, it’s amazing. Because it’s powered by google search.

Maybe but I’ve been working with Gemini over the last week and it’s actually REALLY good for research and human sounding writing. And it understands psychology better than any other model I’ve used. I’m only 10 hours in with it, but I’m genuinely impressed. It also kills GPT-4 on creative writing.

Which of the 3 doesn’t need discord? I just tried the last one and it still took me there.

It’s definitely bad for the institutions that have had the power are losing it slowly but a transformation from the core of their business model is long overdue.
