It is totally different. They stopped using Underwood Farms peppers and the new supplier was not as good and could not keep up. There were lawsuits, etc. Now Underwood has their own which from what I read is better than the new Fong version. https://underwoodranches.com/

I don’t know the full story, but it seems underhanded for Underwood farms to come out with the same sauce they were supplying chili peppers for?

Thanks for the reference! Drama aside, even if the new sriracha flavor differs vastly from the original, success for traditional CPG’s typically depends on branding and distribution (both in favor of OG sriracha). But the old adage applies here, “what comes around, goes around”.
