I’m curious what people’s ‘ah-ha’ I’m queer moment was? I actually assumed I was incapable of loving someone romantically for a while before I realized I was actually just gay 😅 I was so socially conditioned to assume I liked guys that I never even questioned it - until the actual moment I realized

Ah-ha queer moment was 9th grade in the band hall. I befriended a butch trumpet player who also played softball. I felt seen, "normal", and happy doing the queer things. I finally decided I'd try to date a woman and even though that first relationship was tragic I made it out alive with my 🌈 gay Lil heart
