Any book can change any life, It's all a question of timing, interpretation and serendipity.

The brothers Karamazov. I believe you can read russian. This one will get you over an under. It took me two years to finish. It was hard to read, i was refusing to open it at some point as i was disgusted by some of the contents. But after all it's a genius of Dostoyevsky no more nor less

I don't know if they would be life-changing, but maybe more so "permission-giving"...anything by Becky Chambers, but specifically, A Psalm For The Wild Built.

Many books impacted my life for the best but the two that jump randomly to mind now: Reading 'Agnes Grey' by Anne Brontë made me a kinder person and made me understand my grandmother a lot better. I learnt a lot from The 'Boy Crisis' by Warren Farrell and it helped me understood my brother a lot more.
