i know u have a philosophy backgrpund so maybe you are one of the very few who might appreciate or know abt one of my very favorite moments from kant’s first critique: in the introduction, there’s a part where he compares the metaphysicians that came before him as “like two men trying to milk a he-goat, one at the ‘utter’ (lol) and the other holding the sieve underneath…” - lmfao i cant think of any better way to describe what discourse on twitter is like 😂😂😂
