Are there any blog posts or podcast episodes specifically about startups leaving urbit (cough cough ‘uqbar’, holium)? When I first heard about ‘kinode’ I was pretty horrified tbh

uqbar (now kinode.org) and holium (now memedeck.xyz?) both left and talked about it on twitter spaces i think? portal folded entirely? @vaporware pivoted to plunder for essentially the same reasons the plunder core devs left urbit. vaporware still believes in the idea of a solid state interpreter, the others don’t.

Is it just me or is this "solid state interpreter" stuff the wrong thing for people to be focused on / fighting about? As a dev focused on data sovereignty & privacy, it often bewilders me how much Urbit is focused on things like Hoon, Nock, OS-level stuff, VMs, etc.
