Gudetama (ぐでたま)is a portmanteau or blend word of the Japanese words for lazy (ぐでぐで, gudegude) and egg (たまご, tamago) but I dislike calling him lazy. I believe he is unmotivated because he lacks dopamine and I adopted him as my personal mascot to remind myself I’m not lazy, my brain is just bad at regulating dopamine. I own a lot of Gudetama merch.
