What would you do about the US southern border? Opinion on US funding for Ukraine?

On Ukraine, the Russian invasion was wrong. That said, we’ve spent billions of taxpayer dollars on another war that has no end in sight. I think it’s time for real efforts to find a diplomatic solution rather than continuing to send money that could be put to use helping Americans.

Oof. Sorry I only have a few red lines. That was one of them. Good luck but this is where I get off.

I’d love to hear your thoughts. With character limits, it’s hard to fully convey such a complex policy position, so to be clear, I do support Ukraine and am not opposed to further funding if it will help bring an end to the conflict, I just think we should be actively pursuing/prioritizing diplomatic solutions.

Why would Russia negotiate if you've decided not to send Ukraine any more ammunition? They'll keep fighting until Ukraine runs out then take the rest of the country by force.

My view is that providing Ukraine with enough money to defeat Russia is 1000x cheaper than an eventual open war between Russia and NATO. Of course I would love to see an end to it. But you have to believe that Putin is not going to bargain in good faith anytime soon.
