Kay Gompa is located in the valley of Himachal Pradesh, actually in the center of the Himalayas at an altitude of more than 4 thousand meters above sea level. The Buddhist monastery was founded in the 11th century. The Dalai Lama himself attended the millennium anniversary.

What an incredible place with such a rich history! The fact that the Dalai Lama attended the millennium anniversary adds even more significance to Kay Gompa. Truly a spiritual gem in the heart of the Himalayas. 🏔️🙏
