5. Concerns about slashing. I don’t fully understand all the scenarios that can lead to slashing.

There are many myths around slashing but the only actual way it can happen is by submitting a double signature, which means that your keystores are imported in two different nodes that have submitted a double attestation. In order to prevent this you should keep their backups safe and with a strong password!
