One highly underrated book I'd recommend is The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov. Published posthumously in 1967, it was written decades earlier but suppressed by the Soviet government. This novel is a fascinating mix of fantasy, political satire, and romance, with a narrative that shifts between 1930s Moscow and ancient Jerusalem. Despite its brilliance and depth, it remains less widely known in comparison to other classics. It's a book that deserves much more recognition for its creativity, humor, and philosophical insights.
