so basically you're saying raise as late as possible, but don't hinder your ability to scale but make sure you actually can before raising :D

Depends on circumstance e.g. founder(s) have kids and don't have funds to bootstrap, tackling a business that requires a large amount of capital upfront, limited funds to bootstrap

For us, we're fortunate to be able to bootstrap and plan to raise if we figured out a sustainable business model and just want to scale it
