sober october is going great tbh; i feel really well and i’ve taken up chess as an alternative evening activity. i still go to the pub, i just drink apple juice instead 😆 it was difficult the first couple of weeks because as an introvert i’m used to having a drink as a crutch. now it feels kind of empowering because if i don’t like a situation i just go straight home 🤔 i feel a lot more in tune with myself. for everyone else who embarked on this journey with me, how is it going?

Story of my life If I don’t feel like staying I go. Took me 4 years from deciding I will never drink at 14 to being able to really embrace going home or saying no. Glad you‘re experiencing it 😍 Also who won Chess? Looks fairly wide open on the picture

yeah it feels good, man. i used to rarely drink and just be a homebody, but the crypto scene really got me with all the events etc. and i won this one hehe!
