Taxes in NYC + California are wild af though.

Mate in Germany we pay 42% to the state and have a mandatory 20% social security bill on top of that so take home is 1/3 of what employee says you get

And employee has to pay that 20% social security as a match as well 😅

And pay of 200k is only for 1) selfemployed, hedge fond type finance jobs
