Good taste is acquired through wisdom; wisdom is acquired through bumps and bruises.

I think good taste is also acquired by building your own sense of aesthetics. What I mean by that is this idea that you need to have a build a highly sensitive radar for what you like and what you don’t like.

Something that is much easier to say than it is to do, yeah.

When we go shopping or similar we instantly know and trust our gut feeling of "hot or not" and can scan a store in literal minutes and move on

that translates to other areas but shopping is an obvious example
