Why would journalists/reporters who have built large Twitter audiences (100k+ followers) move to Farcaster? (short answer: it has become too toxic!)

Rana was effectively trolled/harassed off Twitter.. simply for doing her job! 

There are many such cases of journalists/reporters that have opted to self-censor, halting their Twitter usage 

These are people who have mastered the art of communicating in a succinct, text-based, participatory format 

They have loyal followers that will migrate with them to new platforms/protocols

what needs to happen here in terms of user experience to enable them to have less harassment? I assume some trolls will move plattform as well

and certainly at 100x size it becomes an issue for the clients (protocol will still have all of it)

seeing how much low effort replies  are out there I doubt it since these low effort replies now kreep into warpcast notification feeds again and other clients do not have a similar spam filter

They will. If they migrate to warpcaster, they will have a much more human experience.

Open and decentralized protocols make abuse incredibly easier, it's just the nature of the beast.
