Saw some german agency pricing dev hours today. Dang I am selling myself short. They are incompetent and charge $$$ it's crazy.

Something I once learnt from someone who's done lots of consulting & contracting; Companies have 2 mental price buckets "freelancer" and "agency" To unlock those 4 figure day rates, you need to sell yourself as an agency that is fully handling delivery, not fitting in to an existing delivery process

Yeah it's mostly a perception thing actually (for the big companies that buy this and mix agencies + freelancers). For smaller companies, I think the difference is fully outsourced vs work by spec. If you are doing full service then yes, should definitely think of how to increase pricing
