can we agree that in this case there should be a way for me to press "join channel" and get to the channel page, then see how to join somehow? 

this here makes users not post, if there's a path from here to potential membership they may.

(I am only posting this, because of product feedback, I didn't send the actual cast to my homefeed, because I want it to reach that location channel)

Totally agree with you.

I've had to either uncast my cast or simply cast on home. Not ideal.

Sometimes i have to message the owner, which I feel is a bit intrusive to simply get an invite.

maybe homefeed could be a selection option here too lol then you don't have to "exit" but can just press it

You could and you couldn’t.

You‘d need to 1) spend a lot of time potentially to make your idea production ready

2) get it merged

Just being OSS doesn’t make it a „add this immediately“ situation BUT it allows you to show you really care by having a PR up and ready

As seen with Solana wallet verifications this works

Imagine if Warpcast was open source. We could bring these improvements straight away.
