Recommendation Wednesday: Blue Lock I finally got to watch the rest of Blue Lock Season 2 and I’m pretty happy! I’m not thrilled with some of the character arcs (lots of build up without enough depth or payoff) but overall I really enjoyed the series and can’t wait to see what comes next. I rarely read sports manga (I prefer it animated!) but I might have to make an exception and read this one. Seasons 1 and 2 are 38 episodes, you can watch it on 1.5x easily since it’s a lot of action, and you may find yourself cheering in your chair. I’m not a huge football (soccer) fan but I got into this big time.

Friend I've heard good things about Blue Lock. Is it really as intense as everyone says?

Yes! It’s unlike every other sports anime out there and it makes it really exciting and it keeps you guessing! It turns many of the tropes on their heads in the first episode. You’ll know if you like it by the first show, which I think is rare!
