How much platform risk is a founder taking by building on Farcaster? Very significant iyam... The full article is also a great read: https://medium.com/@lucarestagno/ive-sold-my-4th-saas-as-a-solopreneur-the-backstory-4e6195c305be

The biggest risk is on features that are Warpcast centric (DC, Channels) Building heavily on them now seems super risky. The second risk is towards consumer features. Merkle already announced that they were looking at a freemium model for Warpcast. As this is already the main client, they have way more insight towards usage and hence have a massive competitive advantage.

I've been saying this for a while: too dependant on Warp for onboarding + Warp missing basic features... This too: https://warpcast.com/samo.eth/0x574f8e0e

The Warpcast onboarding experience is what makes Farcaster way better than any other decentralised network. However, the inability to use 99% of 3rd party apps if you are not using Warpcast is the real risk. But that’s only a problem if you are building for consumers.
