Memecoins are a slap in the face to the serious, technical founders who dismiss brand and storytelling as an unimportant afterthought. That is part of why I love them. The other part is mental illness.

So I wasn’t crazy when I asked DWR last year if he’s concerned his company only has devs?… 😄 Great that the community stepped up and did that, to match the amazing technical work tho

I think social apps are different, built in community to build the story. farcaster has solid brand/story just from the name and logo choice. I recently told a completely nontechnical friend (British man in his 70s lol) about farcaster and he told me it was the best name for a social network he’s ever heard.
