The economic opportunity for channel hosts is pretty incredible. Not only do you own the channel itself, you also have a direct financial relationship with subscribers. I can’t think of another online distribution channel outside of email where this exists.

hmm, only partial correct imo phil, let's not forget - channels aren't decentralized yet; so, the potential work you put in can be wiped as easily as Elon can wipe your shared revenues. not the best look/status, we're still not there yet. this was one of my main concerns re channels
