Old work. This package for Quake III Arena was the first tin software package which we developed with a moon pie tin manufacturer in Shenzhen. This package was signed by the staff at id Software.

That’s incredible! I need to dig in my archives. I have the original tin samples from that time and sealed copies of the game. Return to Castle Wolfenstein too — which was the 2nd (3rd and 4th) tin software package ever. Activision had to listen to id Software who wanted something as revolutionary as their game.

My parents miiiiight still have my copy somewhere in storage I might have to have a dig around. It consumed mine and my friends lives for some time, I can still feel the excitement of it loading it up in my memory

We had a death match with id every day at 5pm during development. Fun memories.

We made lots of crazy things! As example, this pre-release tour bus would park in front of Best Buy and CompUSA, etc. and host live death matches with id Software.
