Tell us about the Montessori startup. Not quite the same, but both of my kids are homeschooled. No, we’re not religious (that is usually the preceding question, so getting that out of the way). 😆

Oh hi! I have a daughter and I’m kind of homeschooling her. A few reasons include very bad schooling system. The schools look like literal jails. She is 5 and a half. We used to live in another city and that one had some acceptable schools. This city sucks. So until I find a good one or shift back after getting financially stable I have to carry on homeschooling. No one does that in our country and I have no idea what to do. I am not doing a great job, only taught her how to write the alphabet and numbers and now she has almost kind of learned how to read too. It’s been almost a month that we can’t study properly. She is great at talking and knows exactly how to socialize with kids and adults. Especially when guests come. Family is zero supportive and we don’t have any friends to socialize with. Recently made some who have two kids that are 10 and 12 years old. My kid can easily play and jump around with. Everyone is telling me she is alone and she needs another sibling or make her go to school

I know I am not doing a great job at homeschooling. I am very chill even though I used to be the high performing kid who tried to make her dad proud through grades. Never worked hahaha anyways we have recently gotten lots of farm animals. We live on a huge property that is my husband’s fathers (my husband fought legally for it and solved all the problems for his dad though so we are not free riding even though the parent tells us we are hahahah) anyways we will put her in school around 6 years of age I hope we make money or find a job since we can’t afford any right now. But I hate the schools. We put her around a year ago in a small school that claimed they were from Canada and had made a Canadian system in the school

I went there for 3 months since my daughter would cry and not let me go. Funny she was okay for the first week but the head of the school sucked. When my daughter would start silently crying for me since she missed me and tell the head she would reply back that ‘it is how it is’ wtf… i took her off that sh it show. She could speak better than half the teachers there had batter vocabulary than all the kids combined and understood rules quite quickly because I took out the time to tell her why a rule was there instead of telling her it is how it is.

I am so confused I don’t know what to do. I am just trying to finish the books that we got for her in that school. The schools here are so far away so we have to pay the fee and then the fuel costs are also too much. We aren’t making a dime yet. I also know the schools will cause a huge problem when it’s time for me to put her in school since no one accepts homeschooling. I don’t know what I am looking for by commenting here hahahah such a long story but I am so burdened. I hope I am not ruining my daughter

She made these cats at night. Her first attempt at cats. She plays with the farm animals all day. She used to take care of chicks when she was 2 and 3. Never hurt them. I just learned from my new friend her kids would twist the chicks and kill then while playing when they were 4 and 5. I don’t want to compare but I still doing that because I have no way of knowing how good or bad of a job I am doing with the half efforted homseschooling
