Playboi Carti is supposed to be dropping a new album today. Here's a few thoughts about it.. -300k in the first week? Fans have been waiting years for this. -I hope this shakes things up, hip-hop has been in a weird place recently. -Akademics said theres one thing we're going to be talking about after the album drops... -I think Carti has been making ground breaking music as of late. I think he is the most popular artist in the world rn. I think he leads the industry, and sets A LOT of trends. I think he influences the culture almost as much as Future does, maybe even more with the younger artists. -His production is very important to his recipe..his songs make you feel things, almost making the actual words irrelevant. Same thing with Yeat.

lol thats ok! high chance you'll be hearing about him in the future if you follow the scene at all. likely will be the best selling album of the year? this is someone thats fully embraced being "mysterious" and keeps his music on the down low..focusing on quality over quantity. essentially starving his fans lol.
