Yesterday, one of our walk ons - who was a manager for 3 years, crowd chants for him to get in a game - gets in game at the end of our Maryland win, gets an offensive rebound and scores - got a 10K scholarship. Nobody knew it was happening, he came out of locker room as we all went from film room to start of practice

So cool! My son (9) has started playing basketball this past year and I’ve been telling him how if he works hard and dedicates, even if he’s not some superstar athlete, it could lead to amazing opportunities and maybe even help pay for his education. Excited to show him this to reinforce the importance of working hard and not giving up. Thank you for sharing!
