That’s awesome. Duo really helped me in learning German while I was living in Koln, but tbh it never got me conversational.

Forcing myself to speak it in person (and live with knowing I’ll make mistakes) helped massively.

ofc Germans have such good English they all just immediately switched out of politeness 🫠

Yes quite well! When I go to Spanish speaking countries (Spain or countries in South America) it definitely helps me get around. 

But matallo is also a native Spanish speaker, so ontop of duolingo I have daily exposure to Spanish from him too.
