just a few weeks ago in sicily we asked the local bread shop where to go get fresh seafood to make at home since we are only like 25 km from the mediterranean, he gives us this tiny local place that almost looked like a garage, walk in everything is day of fresh on ice, husband and wife prob in their 70s start giving me the seafood to try, raw, asking me to sample everything, it was delicious but i couldn’t believe i was eating raw fish, squid, etc right there 😂
