never felt comfortable with the founder identity working alongside 'real' founders, ppl who've raised, YC alum, companies.. thats changed lately - and I've wondered why. What makes me feel like a founder now? 

I think in part its standing behind the attempt - not because the idea or product is perfect but because I'm gonna show up tomorrow and make it better. its not even a confidence thing, I probably have felt most like a founder in times of uncertainty, because thats when you're like "okay, we're gonna try this," and while ofc the decision matters, its the showing up to answer for it that holds more weight to me.

I'm irony poisoned enough to kind of hate the word "founder"," but I love that feeling - its ownership, its a possible future I get to make real, how cool is that?

to be honest it doesn’t matter really how we define ourselves, you are just as capable as anyone else 🤗
