How long until someone tokengates their entire profile?

For example, $0.05/month to see anything I post...

It'd certainly reduce spam and increase the comment/discussion signal : noise ratio.

Not sure how I feel about the crowding-out effect though...

It feels like streaming subscriptions. It's a slow crawl, first you have Youtube, then Netflix, then Apple TV+ etc.. and I don't really want to pay my friends to view their content. I just want to be friends with them :( 

I want to give them money intentionally in larger amounts, not $0.05 for a pic of their dinner.

Also, I don't want them to feel bad if I don't subscribe to whatever they're putting out :( sometimes I really like someone but I don't like their product 😂

It's worth an experiment for sure. I just don't know how deeply I'll be participating in it. Maybe I'll change my mind!
