I’ve gotten some feedback on the cost of /humankind candles, but here’s why they’re worth your money: - Two scents = double the labour. I have to wait for the bottom layer to cool before adding the top layer. - All of my manufacturers are in North America, which means more ethical working conditions - I use wooden wicks, which are 2-3x more expensive than regular cotton wicks. These wicks are also FSC certified, so the wood is sustainably sourced. I could go on but these are just some of the reasons. You get a high quality candle, peace of mind that the supply chain is ethical, and the labour I personally put into every single candle.

Good breakdown, Sam! If I could push on one thing that is hopefully helpful: Cost:value to buyer is more important to buyer than cost to manufacture. Defining that more clearly should help reduce the cost question. Keep at it! 💪🫡

Excellent feedback Ben. Thanks so much for providing that to me. I’ll try to make another post in the future defining that and add that to my website too!
