💘Cheesy Valentines day story of how I met my bf @matallo.eth on Warpcast,

1/ Here’s how it started, with a cast:

2/ He DMs me on telegram asking if I’m serious.  I am, but he turns me down at first. He needed to be on call for work or whatever that means 🙄

🕯️They/them. Scaled cos from 0-$300k in arr, 7-35 employees, 0-100k users. Now I make beautiful, functional, and ethically made candles at humankind.place

3/ Just kidding, he’s coming! He bought the ticket even before he confirmed with me 🤭

4/ He lands in Mexico. He stops responding when he lands. I think he’s getting kidnapped or I got scammed. 

Eventually he made it into the bnb and it sunk in that I really made a stranger fly across the world just to save some money on a bnb. And that I’m living and sleeping with a complete stranger!

5/ Whatever. I’m in Cancun. I have my bnb paid for. And this guy is pretty cool. 

Here’s one of the first pictures we took together, which he posted (and later on told me he couldn’t stop looking at).

6/ The next day we go to a restaurant together and dress up, before we had to catch a flight the next day.

We’re in the Uber to the airport, he’s sitting in the front and I’m sitting in the back. He says to me “You know, yesterday at dinner you looked very beautiful.”

7/ Flirting commences. We go out for dim sum and it’s a good time. Then we co-work together and I leave to grab dinner with my friends.

8/ I tell my friends about him. I think I really like him. They try to stop me from DMing him to go back to his place after dinner so I don’t. I go home (30 min subway away) so that I can physically stop myself from seeing him. 

So I DM him like a hoe anyways and he comes over at 11pm.

9/ And the rest is history. We ended up being together for three days in a row after our first date. He even left me at his house with his keys in the first week! 

And now we’re celebrating our 2 years ☺️
