Hilariously products like Vercel are hosted on AWS so you get double-boned on price for using them. At least with Vercel it’s easy to set up, but for any funded company it’s starting to make sense to run your own metal again.

i have no idea why people still use aws, it's *way* more expensive than competition and *impossible* to do basic actions — e.g., removing a member from organization without attaching billing to that member (wtf they don't pay for anything) or get a cost breakdown by instance (the closest thing is by instance type)
