Which of your photos was the most challenging for you and why?

I think the lava shots are the most challenging because the lava is so hot, it almost gives off it's own "light" and it creates heat waves between you and the subject, so getting the exposure right and the focus, and capturing something so awe inspiring in person in a way that the viewer will be able to see... that's a real challenge!
