if I ever ran a restaurant I think I’d put little pictures of the dishes on the menu, the way they do in Japan. would this offend you? discuss.

Seems like a no-brainer, especially for extras like dessert 

Some % are deciding where to eat based on online pictures, might as well lean in to visual presentation

There’s a association with fast food or low end restaurants doing this in the US and high end restaurants having obscure text menus. But it can also be done nicely for sure

not at all, usually I search on unterner the pica of the restaurant dishes to understand how they serve the food and if some ingredient isn't in my taste so Japan are 10 years ahead

Would eliminate me looking up photos on my phone at the table so I’m a fan
