eh, even if terraforming seems impossible i doubt he thought he would step off starship into an oasis akin to a national park. i also feel like it's possible to set up a martian civilization without terraforming

it’s funny that he and tswift are basically took opposite paths in some ways musk started out as a darling of the left -> flipped to being a darling of the right over the course of his cult of personality swift started out more of a “country” girl, closer to being on the right -> now a darling of the left
