I’ve heard people refer to Myers-Briggs as “male astrology,” but Myers and Briggs were in fact a mother/daughter team. (INTJ btw)

People call it male astrology because it is a pop science that holds a somewhat comparable berth of legitimacy with a similar ratio of men as the modern zodiac does with women.

I understand that it’s holds a comparable berth to men as astrology for women. All the same I can imagine that Myers and Briggs themselves would find it perverse that it be characterized this way given that they invented it. Maybe.

Perhaps, and maybe I should have said more. Intention was to show that if one was surprised by their gender then one might want to check their biases. I find women are often undercredited  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
