I want an 'Aura' feature in email interfaces (clients). A halo on users' profile images that communicates users' time and mental space before and after sending an email/message. 

- Green halo: sending you an email is still a priority, but so many other issues are demanding my attention as well so it will take a little longer. 

- Pink halo: we don't have smooth communication usually so I'm trying to find the right words that will warrant a reply.

- Yellow halo: I sent you a message and I know you're interested but could you be more specific about your expectations.

And so on.

Significant life quality and connections improvement could happen if email interfaces (clients), and all chat apps for that matter, design such feature to nudge users or get a feedback on the progress of a conversation instead of the dreadful silence of waiting to get an email/reply.
