Randomly test yourself how well you can argue the other side of anything you read, hear, etc. Doesn鈥檛 mean you agree with that pov, but likely means you have enough of understanding of the first principles to develop your own opinion e.g. be able to argue for climate change policies better than a Gretastan

I'm not sure it's a choice you get to make, at least not directly. Do what it takes to be at odds with society and hope they notice enough to ostracize you. Most people aren't important enough to be heretics. Body odor helps.
