I like the idea, however $7k+ prize for one winner is quite a lot. It takes some time to prepare the project, so maybe a slightly different division, e.g. 50% for the winner, and the rest as a consolation prize for valuable submissions?

Less than 3 days left and it's the middle of the week. Detailed requirements appeared yesterday. I would consider extending week-1 at least until the end of the weekend.

yep. im definitely evaluating that and thinking through the possibilities of how to make this fun, engaging and rewarding for every person that decides to participate
