No regrets & proud of myself for gutting it out. Just couldn’t hang in the heat. The mind can go to real dark places when you start to feel it slipping away but I didn’t let myself go there today. ☀️

I always remember my husbands first marathon which was in Singapore. Was one way to make all others seem not so bad. I think the heat there was worth half an hour off his PR!

Aw thank you. No regrets! Went out as planned. (my A goal was 2:56) But I blew up pretty hard, and then had almost 10 miles left to grind out as a little treat 🤣. 

Most proud of the mental shift for sure! Still had a good time! And of course all the post race cardamom buns 😜.
