I don't know too much of the culture in Turkey. I'm exploring attending devconnect. 
What are things I should be aware of?

I backpacked around for three weeks but a lifetime ago so I hope it’s improved. Was safe but the men were annoying & presumptive about ‘loose western women’. Blond hair worse for attention.
But amazing place, If time get out to Cappadocia, Ephesus, Olympos. The age is mind blowing & totally different.
