How should I go about syncing two separate Postgres instances? Is there a way to apply a filtering mechanism during this process?

I came across this. Trying to create a separate Postgres instance dedicated for search. Would also like to be able to support in-flight transforms or be able to choose which tables get copied over to the replica.

Was also looking at Postgres' built-in streaming replication capabilities.
