What if our locus of control wasn’t directly behind our eyes? 

Interesting that our mind grew to present the world to our consciousness that way, rather than via e.g. a third person overheard view.

Our locus of control could have been located anywhere in the body, the world would still be presented to us through our sensory organs, sight being dominant in this case. 

What I find intriguing here is if our dominant sense presented a third person view rather than a first person pov, would our sense of self differ?
