I think this 'childhood trauma' being at the root of all behavioral issues narrative is more fashionable than true. Some people are just born maladapted sadly, but it is less accusatory to blame it on childhood. It also creates the space to talk about oneself in podcasts/tweets moreso than 'genetics'
