If you improve or control your dietary habits, I can guarantee that you won't need to take medication for your health or spend money on health-related issues. In Jain philosophy, there is a saying about meals: breakfast should be eaten like a king, meaning a heavy meal (even if you overeat, it will get digested). Lunch should be eaten like a common person, meaning you should eat a simple meal and then engage in physical activity to ensure it is digested quickly. Dinner, however, should be eaten like a beggar, meaning that even if a beggar is starving for days, he does not get a full meal. Similarly, you should eat only a quarter of what your hunger demands. Regarding dinner, old literature also provides a guideline: you should drink twice the amount of water as the food you eat. This doesn't mean drinking water immediately after eating; rather, over the course of a prahar (approximately three hours), you should sip water gradually to help digest the food without destroying digestive juices. Additionally, you should "consume" four times the amount of air as the water you drank, meaning you should walk enough during that prahar to aid digestion, and sip water as needed when you feel thirsty. This way, the food you ate will be properly metabolized throughout the night. Join the movement TEAS Talks Dr SABS Pandit Kishan Golechha Jain
