Tailwind is the new Bootstrap. Every time I see yet another website using common pre-built Tailwind components I can't help but think the authors really don't care about UI.

Tailwind is absolutely the new Bootstrap, but I don't think that's all bad. All of these frameworks help you get started fast or when you frankly don't have the skills to go bespoke. Hopefully you learn what can be learned with that early version and graduate to better.
