Since today's meta is sharing Farcaster invite stories, here's some tough love for consumer founders: you're probably not schlepping enough.

If you strategy to get more users is to open your code editor, you're avoiding the actual hard thing of talking to users and then having them silently reject you after a few days.

The first version of our Farcaster app didn't work on mobile and didn't have follows, at replies, native image uploads, etc.

Go talk to potential users. A lot.

I can’t co-sign this enough. Nobody is right the first time. Most people aren’t right the 10th time. The only way to get there is to talk to people. A new feature that isn’t informed by new convos with users is just a guess and likely wasted time. We all instinctively cling to what’s easiest for us and hide from the work. That’s not the way to success.
