A little! This weekend I hope to make a plan. Probably starting in Sapporo and going south!

I’ve been before but I was chasing cherry blossoms! This time I’d like to see the red leaves. I’m thinking of going to Sounkyo Onsen and doing some light hiking. Not sure if it’s easy to go without a car. Last time I drove with friends and hit part of the park, but didn’t make it this far.

Nice!!! Yes, I think it's best to go by rental car. It's quite inconvenient to go around there without a car. Of course, you'll be staying overnight at Sounkyo Onsen, right?

Here is also a great place to see autumn leaves and tourist spots that is relatively close to Sapporo and easy to get to. Maybe you’ve already been there.
In the city of Sapporo, the autumn leaves at Maruyama Park are also beautiful. Hokkaido Shrine, a large shrine, is also nearby!
